Ralph , Here is a message for anyone thinking about having a home inspection done, now or in the future: My name is Jesse Nazel, my fiance and I have been looking for a house we can call our own. We just recently came across a home in our price range, we took a look at it, wanted it and decided to go for it. When deciding on a home inspector, the realtor recommended we have one of "they're guys" do it for us but because it seemed sketchy, we looked for one ourselves. When contacting Ralph Smith from SHIRE Inspection, he gave us a good price and sent us some of his reports he had done, to see how he does his work. It all seemed to be in order and well organized so we chose him for our inspection. The day of the inspection he was there before us and right off the bat he was telling us what he had seen that was wrong, just from standing there. He was very thorough with everything and explained it all to us as we followed him through the inspection. When we had questions there was no hesitation in answering or explaining in detail any problems he saw. Everything went very well and we recommend him to anyone who may be in need of a home inspection. Unfortunately we aren't getting that home but if we come across another one he will be the one we call.

S.H.I.R.E. Inspection Services Inspected our prospective home in January of 2009. I was immediately impressed with Ralph's professionalism, he gave the home a very through inspection, noting many small outdoor problems even though there was almost two feet of snow. The web based report generated was very detailed and I was extremely pleased that it had photographs, recommendations, and links to trusted websites, that detailed the repairs needed to correct the specific problems that were listed. Ralph was prompt, professional and courteous. He made the inspection process pleasant and did a first rate job.
